Our mission is to support every Mutt & Misfit we can through the rescue to adoption process. This means taking the time to stop for the dogs who need us the most - the dogs who need additional medical care or help working through behavioral issues. This is a time consuming and expensive process, which is why these dogs often slip through the cracks and fall off the radar.
Meet Phabulous Phil—formerly known as Phat Phil—who has officially settled into the M&M family, and wow, what a transformation we’re seeing! It’s been a month since we welcomed this big teddy bear, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with his progress!
Thanks to our amazing supporters, Phabulous Phil has undergone a complete makeover! He’s been neutered, had a dental procedure that included four extractions (goodbye, dental drama!), and he’s enjoying daily "phit phun" sessions. Plus, he delights in twice-weekly spa days—who doesn’t love a little pampering? On top of that, he’s been switched to a high-quality “phresh phood” diet.
And the results? Drumroll, please…
Phabulous Phil has lost an incredible 15 pounds! He’s no longer covered in blackheads and has the cutest layer of baby phur growing in beautifully!
