*Mutts and Misfits assumes ownership of dogs only upon the completion of a signed surrender agreement by both the original owner and a Mutts and Misfits representative. Until this agreement is finalized and the dog is physically in the care of Mutts and Misfits, the original owner remains responsible for the dog.
